Tobias, or The prison under sail. American production

In Tobias, or The prison under sail. American production written in the South Seas Juan Bautista Alberdi narrates the adventures of a return trip to Argentina from Europe, passing through France, Spain and Cuba.
Juan Bautista Alberdi, Argentine writer and politician, was born in Tucumán on August 29, 1829 and died in Paris on June 19, 1884.
He studied law, graduating in 1840 as a lawyer in Montevideo. Later he traveled through Europe and Chile, where he settled to practice his profession in the city of Valparaíso.
As a writer he exerted considerable influence on Argentine political institutions. In 1852 he wrote Bases para la organización política de la Confederación Argentina, whose views were considered in the drafting of the Argentine Constitution of 1853. Later he was appointed counselor of the Government of General Urquiza and plenipotentiary representative of Argentina in the legations of Paris, Madrid and London, where he was the architect of important agreements.

Don’t fool the reader with your male name. The sexes tend to be confused in this century. The anatomy of some socialists has discovered that there is no organic difference between woman and man. This doctrine will make the women of Paris, renew the famous scene of the ball game on the least expected day, and protest against the obligation they have had on themselves for so long, to regenerate the species. And then, if men do not agree to participate in the task, God knows how or by whom the renewal of the human race will be made.

On the other hand, this confusion of names is not new.
St. Peter’s in Rome is a church; like St. Paul’s in London, it is another church and the Duomo in Milan is another.
Jorge Sand titled Consuelo to one of his novels however that Consuelo is the name of a female character, ugly and cute at the same time, as the author says that in turn is given the male name of Jorge.
Tobias, then, is a three-masted boat, as Chillon Castle is a state prison.
