Rarity: complete stories, short stories, mini-stories and narrative poems is the union of

• a chapter consisting of four autonomous stories within his extraordinary novel Paradiso,
• and three chronicles-stories of Treaties in Havana
• and Analecta of the clock.

The daring ensemble gathered here shows Lezama Lima’s ability to narrate beyond his two essential novels.
The author of Paradiso (1966), the great Cuban poet José Lezama Lima (1910-1976) was an essential narrator. Not only did he express himself with two novels (the second, unfinished, Oppiano Licario, 1978, posthumous edition) and five short stories.
Throughout his work in verse and prose, there are several other narrative texts, which have value per se, autonomous. We have grouped them in The Weirdness: Complete Tales. For the first time, the complete Lezamiana story appears, in its splendor, not partial.
