Song of Raymond

The Cant de Ramon, known in Spanish as Canto de Raimundo, is a poetic and autobiographical work by the prominent Mallorcan philosopher, poet and mystic Ramon Llull. Composed in verse, this literary piece offers a detailed and reflective journey through the main events of Llull’s life, focusing its narrative on his spiritual evolution and devotion to God.
The work covers from his dramatic religious conversion to the foundation of the monastery of Miramar, an emblematic place for the formation of missionaries and dissemination of the Christian faith.
