Founding Constitutions of Cuba comprise the first seven Cuban constitutions. The old asm of all the Draft Constitution for the Island of Cuba. It is an unprecedented document in the history of Cuba. Joaquín Infante, its author, published it in 1812, in the revolutionary Caracas of Simón Bolívar, whom he met in person.
Infante also designed a flag for Cuba, now unknown, that we have used for the cover of the independent edition we made of said Project.
In the following three constitutions it should be noted that with them the pro-independence forces erected a legal code and a framework of legal action from which to legitimize their positions.
The Constitution of Guáimaro of 1869 was voted in the Cuban people of Guáimaro on April 10, 1869.

Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, President of the Constituent Assembly, and citizen Deputies Salvador Cisneros Betancourt, Francisco Sánchez, Miguel Betancourt Guerra, Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz, Antonio Zambrana, Jesús Rodríguez, Antonio Alcalá, José Izaguirre, Honorato Castillo, Miguel Jerónimo Gutiérrez, Arcadio García, Tranquilino Valdés, Antonio Lorda and Eduardo Machado Gómez.

It also proposes dialogue with the two foreign forces that weighed most heavily on Cuba at the time: Spain and the United States.
It also includes the one promulgated by Spain in 1897, granting autonomy to Cuba and Puerto Rico. And finally there is a Constitution made during the occupation of Cuba by the United States. Below we list them:
