A Journey Through the East. From Manila to Marianas is a work of the Spanish author and explorer Juan Álvarez Guerra. First published in Madrid in 1872, this travel book is the result of a scientific expedition that the author carried out on behalf of the Governor General of the Philippines, Rafael Izquierdo, in 1871.
